Han’s Laser Delivers the World’s First S PRO Series 40kW Dual-Beam Common-Rail Large-Format Laser Cutting Machine Overseas

Han’s Laser Smart Equipment Group has recently delivered an S PRO series 40kW Linear Rail Large Format laser cutting machine to an overseas customer. This marks the first introduction of an ultra-high-power dual-machine shared rail system in the region.

 

The customer mainly engages in steel plate processing for the automotive. Previously, they were only able to process steel plates up to 40 mm thick. The S PRO series can now stably cut 80mm thick carbon steel plates with high quality, doubling their processing capacity. This upgrade not only meets local demand for thick plate processing but also enables the customer to undertake large structural component and heavy machinery orders.

 

The S PRO series is specifically designed for ultra-high-power (10kW+) laser cutting, meeting stringent European and American safety and environmental standards. It features modular design for easy installation, as well as high efficiency and stable performance under high-power operation. The 60kW and 40kW units have demonstrated outstanding performance and long-term operation at demanding customer sites in regions such as the United States, Japan, Australia, the Middle East, and Taiwan.

 

 

 

The S PRO standard model adopts a single-beam structure, supporting multi-beam configuration expansion. The delivered machine features a dual-beam, dual-head design. One of the cutting heads is Han’s Laser’s self-developed , supporting both vertical cutting and bevel cutting in a single integrated process.

For bevel , Han’s Laser has developed a range of core technologies, including bevel follower algorithm, bevel tool compensation algorithm, bevel pendulum bias algorithm bevel vertical automatic detection, bevel vertical automatic reset and other algorithms. These innovations ensure stable batch processing of bevel cuts and meet the complex requirements of industries such as shipbuilding, heavy industry, and steel structures.

 

In terms of core components, the CNC system, laser source, and cutting head are all self-developed by Han’s Laser, ensuring stable and reliable performance. It is also equipped with a comprehensive high-power (10kW+) process database, featuring specialized technologies such as stable thick plate cutting, low-pressure cutting, and “Clean Edge” Cutting.

 

The S PRO series adopts a linear guide large-format bed structure. The standard model offers an ultra-large working area of 13m × 3m, which can be extended to 26m × 3m, 30m × 3m, or even larger. It is capable of handling ultra-high-power laser cutting above 60kW. The rail segmented bed and split-type worktable design effectively minimize thermal deformation and reduce the impact of loading medium and thick plates, ensuring long-term machining accuracy and equipment stability.

Additionally, the series is equipped with a bottom-zoned dust extraction system and a top fume exhaust system, fully complying with strict international environmental standards. It also supports container transportation, providing an optimal solution for customers requiring ultra-large format and ultra-high-power laser cutting.
