In industries such as sheet metal fabrication, electrical enclosures, and automotive parts manufacturing, persistent challenges include excessive burrs, low precision, poor efficiency, and the need for secondary deburring. Normal cutting often results in bottom slag adhesion, slag accumulation at corners, and rough cut surfaces, forcing manufacturers to rely on deburring machines or manual grinding—leading to higher costs and lower efficiency.

To address these challenges, Han’s Laser Smart Equipment Group has introduced the "Clean Edge": Burr-Free Cutting Solution, specifically designed for stainless steel and carbon steel processing. It achieves burr-free straight edges and slag-free corners, solving these issues at the source.

 

The solution relies on the synergy of three core components: the HAN'S 1201 CNC system with closed-loop control, a high-brightness laser source that delivers a focused beam, and a high-precision auto-follow cutting head with a coaxial assist gas system that sprays high-pressure gas to remove molten material. The cutting head uses rectified gas to envelop the beam and laser micro-jets to reduce the heat-affected zone and suppress burrs. It is suitable for high-speed, burr-free cutting of thin plates and precision parts, eliminating the need for secondary grinding

Micron-Level Precision & Process Stability

Continuous wave laser cutting ensures burr-free surfaces, controllable micro-melt layer thickness, dimensional deviation below 200μm, and a minimal heat-affected zone. It meets the processing requirements of sheet metal and precision components.

For complex geometries, the "Clean Edge" solution enables one-pass cutting with burr-free edges and corners. Cutting parameters can be standardized, and process setup is simplified.

 

Batch Consistency

 

With a repeat positioning accuracy of ≤ 0.02 mm, the automated laser cutting system ensures consistent cutting quality for stainless steel and carbon steel sheets, eliminating the need for secondary deburring and meeting assembly precision requirements.
